The Journal of Ferrari History
Cavallino is the journal of Ferrari history, covering Ferraris old and new for over 40 years. It's the most reliable, most trusted source of everything Ferrari. Ever since the first issue in 1978 Cavallino presents extensive stories and detailed information from knowledgeable experts and enthusiasts who share the passion for Ferrari. All Ferraris are unique, and each one has its own chassis serial number. This is how the Ferrari world keeps track of all the great cars. Cavallino is the only publication that prints the serial number for every Ferrari mentioned in our stories, articles, and race results.

He was on his way to work when the accident happened in the small town of Trofarello, seven miles south of Turin and near the headquarters of Pininfarina. He was 51. |

Joscelyne The body style of s/n 2643 GT was very similar to those of the Ferrari 400 Superamerica coupes, but without the adornments like bumpers, chrome trim and fancy light treatment of that model, whilst the body was constructed from light alloy formed over a frame of light chrome-molybendum steel tubing. The shape was very elegant, with the rounded nose denominated by the shallow elliptical radiator opening. |

The third of those four rounds, at Mar del Plata, saw Villoresi challenge Juan Manuel Fangio's privateer Ferrari for the lead until both of them tangled and crash out, allowing Ascari to sail on towards a comfortable win. |

Overall it can be stated that first-class collector cars - high profile marques and models, good clean owner histories, documented resume, good to excellent condition (or the complete obverse - unreported cars with good patina) - bought very good results, while average cars and poor cars did just that - average and poor. |
